Perfecting Progressive Sanctification

Sanctification unfolds in three powerful dimensions: positional, progressive, and final. The moment we believe, we are made holy in Christ—a positional sanctification that stands as a perfect and eternal declaration, a deposit guaranteeing the glory to come (Eph. 1:13–14). But it is within progressive sanctification—our daily walk with Christ—that we are actively transformed, step by step, into His likeness. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 3:16–18, Romans 8:29, and Philippians 3, this sermon explores how we participate in the Spirit-led process of becoming what God has already declared us to be. It’s not about achieving perfection today—but about faithfully yielding to the One who is perfecting us for eternity.
